Gymkata is a 1985 martial arts film starring Olympic gymnast Kurt Thomas as Jonathan Cabot, an Olympic gymnast who combines his gymnastic ability with martial arts to enter a deadly competition in a fictional country, Parmistan. It has developed a cult following as an unintentional comedy for its dubious premise, poor production quality and strange setting, and Thomas earned a Razzie Award nomination for Worst New Star. Maxim magazine lists the film as the 17th "Worst Movie of All Time".

"Gymkata is so hugely moronic that, when the studio execs green-lit the project, somewhere, trillions of light years away, a planet exploded. It is the zenith of bad moviemaking." - DVD Verdict

"There are bad movies, there are worse movies and there are movies that offer a few brief moments of unintentional comedy, but Gymkata is a tour de force of B-movie greatness. At no point will you not be entertained." - Wikia
